Thermal Oxidizers Design & ManufacturingRequest A Quote

The term “thermal oxidizers” is used to describe equipment with a wide variety of applications, features, and complexity. MRW has extensive experience in designing and manufacturing thermal oxidizers for many industries, including gas processing, chemical & petrochemical, oil & gas production, petroleum refining, marine & terminal loading/storage, and steel & mining.

Initially designed for tail gas and acid gas, MRW Thermal Oxidizers are the preferred solution for any waste gas stream, standard or one-of-a-kind: chlorinated compounds, carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), BTEX, low BTU, high BTU, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), landfill gas, etc. MRW Thermal Oxidizers use advanced burners and pilots, made of high quality stainless steel (typically 304 and 310), that have been proven reliable and durable in thousands of installations worldwide. Our innovative Thermal Oxidizer firebox layouts contribute to achieving high DREs on unique waste streams.

In addition, our team of engineers and experienced professionals will review all aspects of custom and standard Thermal Oxidizer projects to ensure that safety, ease of maintenance, durability, and quality are upheld.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can process or field gas be used as fuel?

Yes, fuel sources with heating values higher or lower than natural gas may be used upon engineering review. Also, MRW burners and pilots can be fired using fuel containing H2S.

Can a single combustor be used for multiple sources of tank vapors and process streams?

Yes, MRW systems can be customized to accommodate a vast arrangement of waste gas sources with differing heat contents simultaneously. By utilizing a single combustor instead of many, capital costs can be reduced.
